Tawny-bellied babblers ((Dumetia hyperythra) are small, hyper-active birds having a soft, fluffy plumage that makes you just want to cuddle them!
They are found in India and Srilanka. Of the two Indian sub-species, the ones in West India have a white throat.
This image was shot in the shrubbery along the Waldevi lake’s edge. There were a group of about 20 birds and I spent the better part of an entire evening watching and photographing them!
