Western crowned warbler (Phylloscopus occipitalis) are small warblers that have a distinctive white strip on the crown and two wing bars. A few of these birds were feeding along with the more commonly seen greenish warblers among the cotton treen in the backyard.
They are migratory birds that winter in the Western Ghats.
