Common wanderer (Pareronia Valeria) butterflies are one of the most frequently spotted species of butterfly at my Goa farmhouse.
The image is of a male (fairly broad black band at the edges). These non-poisonous butterflies mimic the toxic glassy tiger butterflies to protect themselves from predators.
Goa Farmhouse, Calangute, Goa. 12th November 2020.
