I have a whole bunch of old photographs from way back when.
These were gradually deteriorating with age and I recently decided to have them scanned. For me, going through those prints was like going through a personal timeline of photography. They ranged from tiny black and white, barely recognizable thumbnails on one hand to sharp, full color blowups on the other.
Photography was another of my father’s passions that rubbed off on me as a child and one that I enjoy till today. In my early days of film photography, (till I could afford to buy one of my own), I used my Dads cameras.
The article – ‘Dad’s Cameras’ (found under the ‘Photography’ section of the blog) – highlights a few stray memories on my initiation into the wonderful world of taking pictures.
